About John
My life’s adventure started in a small coal mining town in Northeastern Pennsylvania. I was gifted with parents and teachers who saw something in my abilities to draw.
Our legacy’s aren’t in how much wealth or materialism we leave behind, it is how people remember your contribution to humanity. Have you ever seen a armored truck following a funeral?
With my 4 years in the Navy, and getting a taste of sea salt air in the middle of the Atlantic refueling the fleet, it never left me. The impression was indelibly branded in my mind. Ships represent mans example to build great things. The sea is my inspiration along with auto racing and classic automobiles.
I now have two grandchildren, I was married for 30 years before losing my wife to Cancer in 2018, but I have now found someone to share whatever life I have left.
I always tell artists who are just starting out that if you can not handle criticism I would consider another field of endeavor, but if you persist and apply yourself maybe by the time you are my age you will be gifted to paint exactly what you want and not for others, but for yourself.
During my corporate career as both an Art and Creative Director I worked for some high profile clients such as Anheuser-Busch, Sea World, Busch Gardens, Universal Studios, Hard Rock Cafe, NASA and others. My talents varied from starting out as a Textile and Apparel Designer to a National ADDY Award winning trade show exhibit designer. My paintings have been recognized with various shows and awards. It’s been a great run.
Sincerely
John Fronza
